Project Description: Dabhol LNG Terminal Project, Breakwater formation in marine mode.
Scope of Project: Construction of breakwater to provide marine facility to Konkan LNG Terminal.
APS Scope:
APS Mining is executing the quarrying of core, Armor, and large Armor rock, transportation of produced rock to jetty and shifting the rock from jetty to breakwater in marine mode.
1.Drilling & Blasting the rock.
2.Segregation of the hard rock based on size (Core, Armor, Big Armor).
3.Heaping the segregated rock and quality checking.
4.Tests include (PLI, UCT, ST, Direct shear strength, slake durability, EM).
5.Transporting the same material to load-out jetty.
6.Loading the material (core in split barge, Armor in flat barge) and tugging the barge to breakwater for placing the rock.
